Can asthma be prevented by timely endoscopic sinus surgery?

There is scientific evidence highlighting that patients with chronic rhinosinusitis that are being treated timely for their sinus diseases might not develop asthma. It is required to have more studies confirming this statement, however, it is believed that sinus surgery in a timely manner might prevent the development of asthma in a significant amount of patients affected by chronic sinusitis.
