Promising research in the field of Chronic Respiratory Diseases

Physicians have been comparing nasal polyps from individuals with chronic rhinosinusitis or cystic fibrosis and it has been found that there is plasticity in cystic fibrosis and the profile between cystic fibrosis polyps and chronic rhinosinusitis differs significantly. This research leads to a better understanding of why certain individuals develop nasal polyps perse and the further goal would be the improvement of the treatments that we can provide our patients.

These interviews with Kornel Golebski, José Antonio Castillo Vizuete, Justinas Vaitkus, Jurate Staikuniene were recorded during ERRF 2017.
