CT Scans and Post-Operative Care

CT scans are not needed to evaluate the extension of the polyps but it is a tool that is normally used prior to surgery. It is a process that involves radiation and it is important to limit these CT scans in every patient. After all, CT scans are used for safety purposes for the surgeon.
