Mobile health and Big Data will change healthcare

Dee O’Sullivan supports the eHealth platform which is helping with self-care and self-management, the health systems themselves because the more the patients look after themselves, the less cost and burden they are placing on the healthcare systems.

Mobile health has helped in the balance between the patients and the clinicians because now it is a new field for everybody and most clinicians are no more techie than any other patient, not knowing mostly how to collect the data and how to deal with it, so the patient’s input is more important. This interview with patient Dee O’Sullivan was recorded during ERRF 2017.
