What is component resolved diagnosis and how should we use this in daily practice?
ARIA Masterclass Brussels 2018
Component resolved diagnosis means looking to the allergen immunotherapy from a different perspective. It means looking not only at whether the patient has a specific IgE against the whole protein extract from a known allergen source but looking also at whether these patients have IgE that binds to a specific allergen or specific protein within that protein mix.
These interviews with Prof. Dr Philippe Gevaert (Belgium) and Dr Guy Scadding (UK), were recorded during the ARIA masterclass on 12 September 2018 in Brussels, Belgium.
